Meet Emily “Mombika”
Emily, aka “Mombika,” is a holder of space for others to be human, finding joy in the mess of life. Using a package of techniques, she helps others to alchemize the emotions in the vessel of our bodies to help not only ourselves, but others around us.
Emily is a Yoga Acharya in the Sivananda tradition and utilizes her yogic background with breathwork, asana, proper diet, philosophy, among other modalities. She also helps individuals using her current ongoing training as a Parent Instructor for Hand in Hand Parenting, which focuses on connection-based parenting. In essence, the emotions ARE the healing and having safe spaces to release them – as opposed to avoiding them – is crucial for healthy children and societies.
“Mombika” is like a mother to all, with a blend of holding high expectations for humans who know they have higher potential while also holding space when emotions come up during the process to get there, reminding us that delving into the inevitable hardships and pain is the solution to being resilient in life. The pain will come, so we may as well learn how to handle it well.
